2011
The first series of ''Made in Chelsea'' began on 9 May 2011, with an eight-episode run. Originally, the show had a total of thirteen regular cast members and five with supporting roles. All but three of the original cast members returned for at least a second series, with just Funda Onal, Agne Motiejunaite and CJ Chapman departing. The show was renewed for a 10-episode second series as part of E4's decision to stop airing ''Friends'' and filming began on 29 July 2011.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Made In Chelsea stars don't know who's invited back for series 2 )〕 The second series premiered on 19 September 2011 and was followed by a reunion episode presented by Rick Edwards, and a 90-minute Christmas Special, which aired on 22 December 2011. This series introduced several new cast members - new regulars Jamie Laing, Victoria Baker-Harber, Oliver Proudlock, Louise Thompson and Chloe Green. Alice Davidson and Gemma Gregory also joined with supporting roles. After this series, Alice departed the show after just one series.
2012
A 10-episode third series was confirmed on 21 November 2011 and began airing on 2 April 2012. Four new females joined the show - Kimberley Garner, Harriet Loder and sisters Natalie and Karin Joel - none of whom returned for future series'. This was also the last series to feature original cast members Hugo Taylor, Caggie Dunlop and Amber Atherton. Recurring cast members Gabriella Tristao and Gemma Gregory also departed. 2013
Series 5 began on 8 April 2013. Four new cast members joined the show: sisters Fran and Olivia Newman-Young, Phoebe-Lettice Thompson and her on/off boyfriend Josh Coombs.〔(New faces join Made in Chelsea for series five | Radio Times )〕 Tara Keeney also later joined as a supporting cast member. This was the last series to feature long-serving cast members Ollie Locke, Richard Dinan and Millie Mackintosh. Ashley James also departed after two series, and Olivia, Josh and Tara would not return for series 6. The sixth series began on 14 October 2013 and a third Christmas special followed on 23 December 2013. Five new recurring cast members were also introduced, one of whom (Dave 'Miffy' Mifsud) caused controversy after making offensive remarks about gay marriage. None of the five returned for series seven. This was also the last series to feature Phoebe-Lettice Thompson (Series 5-6) and long-serving cast member Francis Boulle (Series 1-6). On 8 October 2013, it was announced that three series of the show had been commissioned by E4. 2014
The seventh series began on 7 April 2014. Two new regulars were cast - Emma Miller and Riley Uggla. Robbo McCallum and Victoria Gucci joined as supporting cast members. Stephanie Pratt made a surprise return after originally departing the show midway through series six. She returned with her friend Erik Soderbergh. Aurelie Mason-Perez later joined as a friend of Riley. Spin-off series ''NYC'' began on 11 August 2014 with four brand new American cast-members; Billie Carroll, Alik Alfus, international model Jules Hamilton as well as supporting cast member Carson Eisenhart. An eighth series began on 13 October 2014 for eleven episodes including a Christmas special. New additions to the cast included Tiffany Watson, sister to existing cast member Lucy, Will Colebrook, Spencer's new girlfriend Lauren Frazer-Hutton and Stephanie's now boyfriend Josh Shepherd. The 2014 Christmas Special aired on 22 December 2014, followed by the first End of Season Party episode of the year, on 29 December 2014.
2015
The ninth series began on 13 April 2015. Two new regulars were cast- Jess Woodley and Nicola Hughes. Millie Wilkinson, Emily Weller, Josh "JP" Patterson, Fleur Irving, James Dunmore and Elliot Cross joined as supporting cast members. Lucy Watson returned in the fourth episode after being absent from the series' first three episodes. Spin-off series ''LA'' began on 10 August 2015 with new main cast member Naz Gharai and four supporting cast members Bryan Mione, Cody Weselis, Noah Bewley and Olivia Fox. A tenth series will begin on 19 October 2015.
